Walking on Jewels

A thick clear sole composed of transparent spheres reminiscent of gemstones. Each sphere is engineered to move softly in response to the motion of the foot, delivering a distinctive walking sensation and reliable grip. By controlling the flexibility of the material to achieve optimal cushioning when worn, it produces a fluffy, floating feeling that cannot be sensed by touch alone. The very fact that it carries volume while remaining transparent subverts the heaviness typically associated with thick soles.

The upper is constructed with a knit fabric featuring a different weave from that of the standard model. The tongue and body are designed as separate components, with a tape stitched along the edge to secure the shoelaces.
