The outsole, which would normally be rigid in order to support the entire body, is intentionally formed into a fluid silhouette that suggests a squishy, almost gooey softness. Rubber parts placed along the exterior add a visual accent to the design. Despite its thick sole, the shoe is engineered to support the body across the entire outsole, and through the flexibility of its materials, achieves both stability and a moderate level of cushioning.

A footbed is placed on top of the outsole, with a design that appears as if cut-off denim has been wrapped around it. The sandal-style upper combines metal buckles, webbing, and denim, resulting in a layered and complex structure. Cushioning is added at the heel to support comfort, while a GROUNDS embroidery is placed on the inner side of the upper.
