About UNDERCOVER
Founded in 1990 by designer Jun Takahashi, UNDERCOVER is known for blending elements of street fashion, art, music, and subculture into high-end fashion. With its distinctive and conceptual collections, the brand has carved out a unique presence in the fashion world. Since 2002, UNDERCOVER has been presenting its collections in Paris, having moved from its original base in Tokyo.
Walking on Jewels
The thick clear sole, composed of transparent spheres reminiscent of gemstones, draws both the wearer’s and the viewer’s attention to the feet.
Each sphere is engineered to move softly in response to the motion of the foot, creating a distinctive walking experience with a unique sense of grip.
By carefully controlling the flexibility of the material, the sole delivers optimal cushioning when worn—producing a light, floating sensation that cannot be perceived simply by touch.
The vamp of each shoe features the words “CHAOS” and “BALANCE,” signature motifs of UNDERCOVER, while the pull tabs are finished with the logos of both brands.
The heel height measures approximately 5 cm across all sizes.
Though voluminous in form, the transparent construction reduces visual weight, resulting in a balanced silhouette.
