Footwear as if stepping onto a massive gel-like mass
The outsole, which would normally be rigid in order to support the entire body, is intentionally formed into a fluid silhouette that suggests a squishy, almost gooey softness. Rubber parts placed along the exterior add a visual accent to the design. Despite its thick sole, the shoe is engineered to support the body across the entire outsole, and through the flexibility of its materials, achieves both stability and a moderate level of cushioning.
In contrast, the upper is constructed in a slim silhouette. A sculpted arch at the midfoot and a gentle slope from toe to heel emphasize a vertical line, guiding the wearer’s style toward a refined, elongated impression. A clean knit upper features asymmetrical knit patterns and eyelets, carrying the design language of the outsole seamlessly into the upper. The knit is made with reflective yarn that catches and reflects light.
Heel height: approximately 7 cm.
The surface of the outsole is chrome-plated, and as the shoes are worn and scratched, the surface is scraped away to reveal the color inside.
