A MOOPIE wrapped in five gummy-like parts
Built on the MOOPIE — one of grounds' signature models — this iteration flattens the incline and adopts a Phylon construction, reconstructing the silhouette into something lighter and more sneaker-like underfoot. The outer edge of the outsole carries the iconic rubber parts found on the original MOOPIE. Scattered across the surface are five gummy-like pieces of varying sizes, crafted from translucent TPU — a contrast that brings together industrial functional beauty and an organic, otherworldly presence.
In contrast to the rounded TPU elements on the outsole, sharp, streamlined CPU elements are placed on the upper. Different materials and shapes come together in one shoe, creating a richly expressive design.
