Introducing “GRAFFITI,” a New Sole Wrapped in Five Gummy-Like Elements
grounds will launch GRAFFITI, a new outsole first unveiled during Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026–27, with styles rolling out from September 26, 2026.
Based on the sole of the brand’s signature MOOPIE model, GRAFFITI has been reworked for a lighter, more effortless feel. Five translucent, gummy-like elements cling to the sole, giving it a distinctive and unexpected presence. The collection will be available through the grounds official online store and directly operated stores.
ABOUT “GRAFFITI”
GRAFFITI is a newly developed outsole based on grounds’ signature MOOPIE model, with both the angle and material construction of the sole reworked. The profile has been adjusted to sit flatter, while lightweight Phylon is used for the main body of the sole, maintaining its voluminous form while delivering a light, sneaker-like feel.
The outer side of the sole features the same iconic rubber elements found on MOOPIE, alongside five translucent TPU elements in varying sizes. Clinging to the sole like pieces of gummy candy, these elements bring an organic, enigmatic quality to its industrial, functional aesthetic. The sole measures approximately 7 cm in height.
GRAFFITI 2046
A grounds interpretation of the dad shoe, evolved through the brand’s distinctive perspective.
The upper combines a variety of materials across different components, while flowing, intersecting CPU elements create a sculptural contrast. Multiple elements coexist within a single silhouette, resulting in a richly detailed and expressive design.

The knit upper recreates classic sneaker detailing through shifts in color and knit construction. Stitching that follows the line of the sole adds a subtle playful accent to the design.
