Introducing "grounds Museum": An Immersive Installation

We are pleased to announce the opening of “grounds Museum,” an immersive installation running from Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at our flagship store, "grounds STORE 001"—a space thoughtfully reimagined within a traditional Japanese folk house (kominka).

Until now, grounds has explored the relationship between the earth and human movement, developing footwear characterized by our distinct, unique outsoles. The upcoming “grounds Museum” marks our first step into a wider creative territory, extending our expression into garments, bags, eyewear, and fashion jewelry.

This evolution is not merely an addition to our product lines. It is an exploration to dissolve the boundaries of the grounds universe—expanding from the feet to the entire body, and ultimately, reimagining the contemporary human silhouette. Moving away from the conventional format of a seasonal exhibition or order session, the "Museum" transforms the entire venue into a singular installation. It is a space designed to let you thoroughly experience the underlying concepts, narratives, and textures that breathe life into this new collection.

■ The Collection and Made-to-Measure

New Product Line: Purchases & Pre-orders
For the first time, garments, bags, eyewear, and fashion jewelry debuted during the FW26/27 Paris Fashion Week will be available for purchase and pre-order.
Furthermore, for select garments, we are pleased to offer a Made-to-Measure experience. Guests can select their preferred fabrics and textures, undergo detailed measurements, and receive pieces tailored to complement the specific bodily form and silhouette proposed by grounds.

Archive Exhibition
Alongside the new collection, a curated selection of our archive collections will be on display, tracing the conceptual trajectory of the brand.

■ Vol. 1 Theme: "Your Home"
For this inaugural volume, "grounds STORE 001" is recontextualized as a "Museum." The entire space is envisioned as the childhood home of a fictional, office-working woman with a penchant for collecting. Through her personal narratives and the quiet historical context woven into the space, we have built a multilayered installation.

Filled with garments and spaces that feel strangely familiar—as if possessed by the memories of someone or something you once knew—the installation invites you to intuitively feel what fashion means to "you."
